Lemon Gin Mule Cocktail

Looking for a delicious gin cocktail that’s easy to make?! We’ve got you covered with this Lemon Gin Mule Cocktail. We used just a few ingredients, including Vermont’s Barr Hill Gin, and the result was outstanding. Cheers!

Ingredients:

2 Ounces of Barr Hill Gin: Each batch is distilled in our custom-built botanical extraction still. The juniper-forward botanicals are brought to a perfect balance by the floral depth of the raw honey.
4 ounces of Ginger Beer
Lemon
Bitters

Make the cocktail:

Pour gin over ice
Add ginger beer
Squeeze a lemon into the drink
Add bitter
Mix together
Top with lemon garnish

This cocktail is SOOOO GOOOD! Maybe one of our favorites so far!

Creamy RumChata Hot Cocoa

This may be one of our favorite Cocktails of The Month yet! Just think about a warm, chocolatey, and toasty hot cocoa and you’ve got this month’s recipe. We made this one easy for you because we know you’re busy with wrapping presents and trimming the tree 🙂 Enjoy!

Ingredients:

RumChata to taste
- RumChata is the perfect blend of Rum, Cream, Cinnamon, and Vanilla.
1 Cup Hot Cocoa | we used a packet of hot cocoa mix and added in a teaspoon of cacao powder to add a nutritional benefit, cause why not
Toppings: Marshmallows, chocolate bits, and whipped cream (you could also try crushed up andes mints)

Make it: Add the Rum Chata to your hot cup of hot cocoa and top with marshmallows and chocolate bits!!! ENJOY!

Lemon Moscow Mule

We replaced the lime with the lemon in this twist on the Moscow Mule. You know we love an easy and delicious cocktail so this one just has three ingredients; lemons, Monkey In Paradise Vodka and ginger beer. We hope you like it. Cheers!

Ingredients: As we said, this cocktail just has a few ingredients –

2 Ounces of Monkey In Paradise Vodka (sold at Mystic Wine Shoppe)
1 Bottle of Ginger Beer (we have Fever-Tree Ginger Beer at the store and love it)
1 lemon

Make it: Pour the vodka and ginger beer over ice, squeeze in lemons to taste… and ENJOY!

Our Fall Dark & Stormy

It’s official, fall is in the air! We’re celebrating the arrival of a new season with this delicious Fall Dark & Stormy cocktail. As always, this is easy to whip up and every ingredient (except the apple) can be found at Mystic Wine Shoppe.

Enjoy by a toasty fire, watching the Patriots game or perhaps at your Halloween party! Enjoy and please share your Dark & Stormy recipes with us.

Cocktail Ingredients:

2 ounces of Doc Brown’s Really Bad Rum. Co, Dark (purchase this at Mystic Wine Shoppe)
2 TBSP Angostura Aromatic Bitters (purchase this at Mystic Wine Shoppe)
1 bottle of Fever-Tree Ginger Beer (purchase this at Mystic Wine Shoppe)
1 Apple (cut up into small pieces)

Make it:

Cut up 2-3 slices of apples into small pieces
Add in rum, bitters and ginger beer
Add ice
Optional – squeeze a slice of lime into cocktail

Simple Summer Margarita

Welp, it’s happening, summer is coming to an end. Which means one thing… time to drink MORE margaritas. You’re probably busy squeezing in those last-minute vacations and getting the kids ready for school so we made this cocktail recipe easy for you.

Ingredients:

Tequila – we used Milagro Silver
Frozen raspberries
Limes
Soda Water – we used Spindrift Lime Soda Water (it’s oh so good)
Fresh mint (optional)

Make It:

Place 1/2 cup frozen berries into a cup
Pour in 1.5 ounces of tequila
Pour in about 3/4 cup of soda water
Squeeze in fresh limes (we squeezed about half a lime into one drink)
Garnish with mint

Arnold Palmer with a Twist

The sun is shining, pools are open and the cocktails are flowing. YES! Summer is here and it feels so good!

July’s delicious cocktail is another easy-to-make cocktail… All you need is some Deep Eddy Sweet Tea, lemonade and lemons to create this delicious beverage everyone (above 21) will love.

Ingredients:

Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka: Tasting Notes – Deep Eddy Sweet Tea begins with our 10x-distilled Original Vodka, to which we add real, whole-leaf Indonesian Black Tea and sweeten with a hint of organic honey from a local Texas Hill Country apiary. Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka was our first product, but like the rest of our vodkas, doesn’t take itself too seriously!
Lemonade: We used organic lemonade from our next store neighbor, Stop & Shop
Lemon wedge

Make It: Mix together 2 ounces of Deep Eddy with 4 ounces of lemonade and add a lemon wedge

2019 Grand Rosé Wine Tasting Recap
